Had this box, plus the steering shaft installed on my truck. 1 ton duallys will never drive like sports cars, but you can tell the difference in how it handles. The track bar and stabilizer all tighten up the front end to the point you fell you can let go of the wheel and it will track straight. It is like you have a new truck under you. Well worth the money.

After buying a Vette, I couldn't stand the steering on my Dodge 4x4 2500 diesel. I had replaced the first steering gear box at 100K, and now with 220K miles, this one was getting a little loose. More so it had no on center feel, and the steering effort was high just to hold it straight down the road. The new one is about a 1/3 the effort to steer, and the lock to lock turns went down from 4.5 to 3.25. It feels really live going down the road, and you can shake it left and right like it's a light vehicle(7200 lbs.). With the same pump, I just can't believe how live the steering is. FYI, the box shifts to the passenger side 3/8". That's 3.5 turns on the pitman arm adjuster - easier than trying to measure it. Also, the original 3 bolts for the box should be 1/4" longer for this one. The BD frame stabilizer bolted up, but needed a little die grinding to fit. Wish I had this a long time ago - can't wait for the next drive.
