The Bilstein 2.65 Suspension System is newest member of the Carli Suspension family of Dodge Ram systems.
Carli Suspension has proven time and time again that there are the one and only leader to accomplish substantial advancement in our concept of
shock tuning. By incorporation the Bilstein 9100's billet 7075 aluminum piston which features more tun-ability through variable bleed shims. Carli Suspension was able to tune the Previously
three free bleed ports that are even open or closed. With the
introduction of this technology, Carli Suspension was able to cascade there knowledge obtained
throughout the entire family of suspension systems. This has rendered
quite a surprise where the on-road performance was so good initially, Carli figured that the off-road tuning would be a journey but there were wrong. With some customized valving Carli was able to tune the Bilstein 2.65 to meet there expectations.
This Bilstein 2.65 system is incredibly capable so its performance is equal
both on and off road and it keeps getting better. The Bilstein 2.65 shocks
are derived from Bilsteins Legendary Blackhawk bypass race shocks.

Our goal in building the Dodge Ram suspension system was to focus on ride quality, durability, and overall function on and off road. This Bilstein 2.65 system took well over a year in the making with combined efforts from some of the top manufacturers in the off road world such as Bilstein, Deaver Spring Mfg, Victor O Designs (aerospace engineer), and many others. Together they created what they believe to be the most superior system on the market. Countless hours were spent in shock valving alone to provide the end user with a vehicle specific product that will be capable of handling any terrain from annoying freeway expansion joints to the harsh rigors of Baja Mexico.
The Bilstein 2.65 9100 series shocks offered by Carli Suspension come
with Jounce Stops at the base of the shaft. This is a specially
designed durometer rubber stop that assists with the final 2.5 inches of
compression dampening.
What you feel is an even smoother transition from compression
dampening to full bump travel. These are intended to augment the current
bumpstop, whether that is factory rubber stops, or Carli's
hydro-pneumatic bump stop. It's just one more layer of protection from
massive compression events and an additional seat of your pants
improvement and increase in comfort.
Both front and rear 9100 series shocks are offered with Jounce
Stops.
