All mounting plates are constructed of 3/8 inch thick steel which support a 2 inch diameter .120 wall tube. What is difficult to see in this photo is the detail in the light bar brackets. The light bars mounting plates are slotted. This design allows the mounting plates to slide through the truck's bumper without having to cut the plastic grill in the bumper.
