The FASS STK-1002 5/8" Suction Tube Kit
is the newest product introduced by Diesel Fuel Systems.
The FASS STK-1002 5/8" Fuel Suction Tube Kit is used to by pass in-tank pumps and works with all of the FASS Fuel Systems.
The FASS STK-1001 5/8" Fuel Suction Tube Kit is a vital component to insure you get the maximum fuel flow from your FASS Fuel System.
In order to get the best performance from your FASS System you need to have an adequate supply of fuel from the fuel tank.
FASS Systems that are hooked up directly to the OEM fuel port on top of tank will have a reduced flow of fuel.
Any FASS System that is designed to move high volumes of fuel needs to have the FASS STK-1002 5/8" Suction Tube Kit installed with the system.
The FASS STK-1002 5/8"" suction tube kits allows the fuel to be picked up at a point in the fuel tank with virtually no restriction in flow and minimal friction loss.

allows all of the FASS Pumps to function at there highest potential flow rates.

The installation of the FASS STK-1002 is used to by pass the OEM fuel pickup points in the tank.
The FASS STK-1002 will not interfere with the OEM vehicles Fuel Gauge.
The FASS Pump will not draw through the in-tank pump due to the high flow rates of the FASS system.
So you will need to install a Suction Tube Kit. (STK-1002)

Because of the higher fuel flow these systems have to offer, you may encounter stock fuel module problems. By installing the FASS STK-1002 will solve these problems.
The FASS STK-1002 is installed by drilling a hole in the top of your tank to install the pick up.
You just leave the pump in the tank and don't mess with it. It will be unplugged when you plug in the FASS harness up at the engine.
NOTE: The FASS STK-1002 Kit is Included in all FASS Systems for the 2005 and newer Dodge Ram trucks!
