H&S Black Maxx Race Tuner with Pyrometer Connection  - Shift-On-The-Fly Power Levels from Stock up to 275HP

The Pyrometer connection is NOT necessary for the H&S Black Maxx with Pyrometer Connection to function correctly. It is used for gauge display and for one of the defueling parameters. It will NOT harm your truck to run without a pyrometer probe installed. We do recommend purchasing the H&S Black Maxx with Pyrometer Connection for the 6.7 Cummins and 6.6 LMM Duramax so you can monitor your Exhaust gas temperatures and set your defuel levels based on EGTs. Ford 6.4 Powerstroke trucks can use a factory sensor in the manifold to monitor EGT. Ford 6.7L Powerstroke can purchase Part # 302202 or Part # 302201 to monitor EGTs.

The H&S Black Maxx with Pyrometer Connection is capable of disabling emissions equipment. If using DPF/EGR removed tuning, this H&S Black Maxx with Pyrometer Connection for Dodge is intended SOLELY for closed-course racing use and is not street legal in ANY state. This H&S Black Maxx with Pyrometer Connection cannot be used on any vehicles registered or certified for highway use.
