S&B Filters 75-5021 Cold Air Intake for the 2007-2008 Suburban,Tahoe, Yukon, Silverado, Sierra, Avalanche and Cadillac Escalade 4.8L/5.3L/6.0L
These kits offer a superior design that streamlines airflow so engines ingest more air for noticeable horsepower gains and improved acceleration. Washable/reusable filters have eight layers of premium cotton gauze to maximize filtration and airflow. Air boxes isolate filters from engine heat, drawing in cooler outside air to boost engine performance even more.
In this era of high-cfm gas engines and air-hungry diesels, S&B test their filters to Standard ISO 5011, which has produced exact and repeatable results. Due to the controlled test setting, performance certificates now accompany S&B filters for added assurance. Each certificate displays Restriction (flow), Efficiency (filtration), and Capacity (performance deterioration) results. S&B filters are also submitted for CARB approval; most are approved while those with the newest engineering innovations await approval. Made in U.S.A.
To achieve more airflow they use deeper and more pleats per filter. S&B Filters are manufactured using eight layers of the highest quality cotton gauze. All of this adds up to more surface area per filter, which means more airflow to the intake of the engine and excellent protection. S&B Filters has developed a manufacturing process that yields filters with almost no bleed creating a greater open surface area that maximizes airflow to the engine. Their experience results in air filters that simply perform at a higher level! S&B Air Filters are a washable/reusable air filter like the K&N filter. The difference is in the pleat design.
